Fostering Future Success : The Significance of IB education in the Early Years

Learning and teaching in the early years is holistic, focusing on the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth and well-being of the child. Integrating the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework enriches our Early Childhood Education Programme by fostering a global perspective, promoting inquiry-based learning, and cultivating essential skills for lifelong success. With the IB curriculum, we ensure our students receive a balanced education that prepares them to thrive in an interconnected world

We develop the most crucial life skill for a child in this early stage.

Inquiring Through Play

Play is a powerful way for children to make sense of the world around them. Inquiring through play allows children to investigate, experiment, and discover at their own pace, fostering a lifelong passion for learning.

Hands-On Learning

To support our concept-based learning, we conduct various learning activities that help students to connect what they have learned to practical experiences.

Excursion

Our excursion to different places can broaden students’ horizons and expose them to new environments, ideas and ways of life.

Expert Visit

Meeting experts can inspire students by showing them the possibilities and opportunities in their chosen field.

Safe and Stimulating Learning Environment

Our learning environment is designed to promote exploration and hands-on interaction with their surroundings. We prioritize the physical and emotional safety of children while providing engaging and enriching experiences.

Learning Celebration

By having learning celebrations, students can share their knowledge, reflect on their learning journey, and understand their strengths and areas for improvement.

Student-Led Conference (SLC)

In our Student-Led Conference (SLC), students develop their communication skills by explaining their learning process to parents, articulating their thoughts and listening to feedback.

Three-Way Conferences (3WC)

Three-Way Conferences (3WC) involve students, parents, and teachers in exchanging information and collaborating to support student learning. Importantly, the child has an important role to set their own learning goals and be responsible for it.

Life Skill Readiness

The world is constantly changing, and as it changes, so do the skills and knowledge required to succeed in it. One of the key components of the IB programme is the Approaches to Learning (ATL) framework. It is organized around five key categories: thinking, communication, research, self-management, and social.

Thinking Skills

Students can improve their critical thinking skills by analyzing information, evaluating arguments, and making informed decisions.

Communication Skills

We value our students’ voices and encourage them to express their ideas and thoughts. Students learn to communicate effectively by participating in class discussions or delivering presentations.

Research Skills

Students enhance their skills in research by conducting independent research projects. They learn to analyze, synthesize, and cite information.

Self-management Skills

Students learn how to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, stay organized, set achievable goals, and maintain their overall well-being.
