Survival Mode: SVP Grade 8 Scout Camp

Grade 8 students in the SVP Scout Camp

From building a bivouac, trekking, to knowing how to use a compass! Our eighth graders had a great time joining an adventurous scout camp in Sukabumi. The activity was held during their first week of school, energizing them before they start their learning activities in class.

During the scout camp, students learned to be independent by setting up a tent.

Boundless Personal Growth

The scout camp, involving sixty students and nine teachers, exposed students to new environments and allowed them to learn how to be responsible and independent. Numerous engaging activities were tailored to help students build self-reliance, such as setting up a tent, cooking, and being responsible for their belongings. While students develop their personal forces, they also enhance their leadership and problem solving skills by taking part in various collaborative group activities. It improves their ability to function in team settings, guiding peers and managing responsibilities.

Lifelong and Meaningful Memories!

This three-day scout camp was packed with physically demanding activities, but the real highlight was the lasting experiences and deep friendships formed. Beyond the challenges and adventures, the camp provided invaluable opportunities for personal growth and fostered a profound sense of belonging. These meaningful connections and the skills developed will leave a lasting impression on everyone involved, making the camp experience truly unforgettable.
